Sooo, since I'm on a quite long break before uni starts I thought I'd put all my brainvomit on this blog. I've read articles before and they say that one way to get our creative juice flowing is by writing flash fictions which are just short pieces of story or just about anything in a short period of time. I'm going to start putting those up here and hopefully it will get me motivated to start drawing again.

Shall we begin?

I heard footsteps crunch behind me as I walked quickly to my car. I didn't dare to look behind and was praying to God that it was not some kind of rapist or something.

"Fuck."

I bent down to pick up my car keys. My hands were blue already. Damn, I should have grabbed my gloves before I left.

I opened the door and quickly closed it behind me. I checked out the windows to see if the person was gone. And they were gone.

"Thank God," I breathed out. I didn't even realized how worked up I had gotten until I noticed how loud my heart was beating.

As I began to reverse out of the parking lot, I heard something crashed into the back of the car. I scrambled out of the car to check what was it that I had hit. I walked around toward the back of the car and saw only a crumpled and bloodied scarf. I picked up the scarf and the blood still felt warm in my hands. My breathing let out steam in front of my face and my vision gradually blurred. The next thing I felt was the cold snow on my face. The cold reached deep inside my bones. The only warmth I felt radiated from my hands.

It was warm. I felt the warmth slithering up from my feet, moving toward my legs then my torso and my face. I felt warm all around, like I was in a cocoon filled with softly radiating sunshine. I tried to move my arms but couldn't. It was the same with my legs. My throat also felt scratchy and dry. I was parched. I opened my eyes slowly and the surrounding slowly got into focus. I turned my head to the side to see the back of a person lying.

We were both on a bed, I suddenly realized. I looked down and my whole body was wrapped in a thick white duvet. And also I noticed that my jeans and shirt were across the room, laid on top of the heater. It was left there to dry. Which meant that I was down to only my underwear underneath this duvet!

The body beside me shifted and turned. I blinked a few times to register the face that came into my view. A pair of light green eyes looked into my brown eyes. That same pair of eyes crinkled around the side as a pair of lips broke out a soft sleepy smile. My pair of lips opened slightly in shock and my eyes widened.

"Hey, you're awake," he breathed out.

He reached over and patted my head and his smile widened.

"Umm wh-where am I?" I stuttered. My teeth chattered slightly. My cheeks still felt cold even though the rest of my body was warm.

"You're home, honey," he mumbled as his eyes closed.

The warmth muddled my brain. I could feel it flowing in my vein. My eyelid suddenly felt heavy. His voice played over and over again almost like a lullaby to lull me to sleep. And it did.

"Home...," I sighed.
